Emergency Meeting of the Arlington Select Board
September 2, 2020

Members Present: Dan Harvey, Matthew Bykowski, Cynthia Browning, Tim Williams, andTodd Wilkins
Members Absent: None
Also Present: Town Administrator – Nick Zaiac
The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM by Mr. Harvey
Executive Session: Mr. Bykowski made a motion that premature discussion of a personnel issue would cause the municipality to suffer substantial disadvantage. Seconded. By Mr. Wilkins. Mr. Bykowski made a motion to enter into Executive Session for discussion of a personnel issue and to invite Mr. Zaiac to remain in the room. Ms. Browning seconded. Motion passed. The Board entered into Executive Session at 7:02PM.
The Board exited the Executive Session at 8:02PM, with a decision to authorize Mr. Zaiac to advertise for outgoing Highway Department positions.
Mr. Wilkins made a motion to accept the resignation of Michael King. Mr. Williams seconded. Motion passed.
The Board discussed whether to begin the 9/14/20 meeting at the Arlington Recreation Park, but ultimately agreed that such a convening would prove difficult with regard to public meeting procedure.
Mr. Bykowski made a motion to adjourn. Ms. Browning seconded. Motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 8:13PM.
