ARLINGTON HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT – Salt Order – Highway Crew Chief Mark Robinson recommends contracting for 400 Tons from Eastern Salt Company at $95.25 per Ton delivered, and contracting for 200 Tons from Apalachee Salt at $99.50 per Ton delivered. The third company’s price is good, but we do not have experience with them in terms of reliability or quality. … The Warm Brook Road Paving project is complete; Winter Preparation Tasks: truck maintenance, road pothole filling as weather allows.

8.1 Amendment to Arlington Alarm Ordinance
8.2 Transfer of ownership of the Fire Houses from the Fire Company to the Town of Arlington. Attorney Joe O’Dea has completed the complex deed work to facilitate this long planned transfer. ***To complete this he asks that the Board approve a motion to accept the lands of the Arlington Fire Company No.1, Inc. *** Once this motion is approved and the minutes of the meeting are prepared those minutes should be given to the Town Clerk for recording of the transfer. [Note: all four parcels in East Arlington and the parcel in West Arlington are combined into one deed.] The Board will need to adjust the Town AFD budget to reflect any newly added utility or maintenance costs for the building.
