New Business
- Tracking tool workshop:
Joan Nash lead discussion of this topic. She distributed copies of the carbon tracking tool with pages of notes and suggestions for addition research needed. The committee held general discussion about conversions of types of building heating appliances. Members volunteered to compile data from their own experiences regarding energy and monetary savings from efficiency, installation of cold-climate heat pumps, and renewable energy in their homes. Members also volunteered to research conversion rates of types of fossil fuels to carbon emissions.
Old Business – Karen Lee described the program by which off-site solar generation is shared with the Town.
All Other Business
Members discussed changing the next AEC meeting until September 11, 2024, because of several members who will be out of town on September 4. All members concurred.
