( 1. ) Zoning Board of Adjustment consideration of an application for a variance for the expansion of an existing nonconforming structure in the Rural Zone at the Rockwell property at 938 Tory Lane. The applicant wishes to add a front porch to the house. The house does not meet the 50 foot front setback as it is about 23 feet from the Highway Right of Way, so the proposed 8 foot deep porch would be 15 feet from the ROW. The Arlington Planning Commission accepted the application as complete at the 9/24 meeting, therefore the ZBA must now make a decision in terms of the approval or disapproval of the variance.
