Town of Arlington requests application for Highway Foreman Position
The Highway Foreman oversees all operations and maintenance of Town Highways and equipment.
The foreman works for the Select Board and the taxpayers of Arlington and is expected to deal with the public in a courteous manner.
The foreman is one of a three-member crew and will be capable of operating all Town equipment, perform lay out and completion of highway projects, maintain all accounting records necessary to provide information to accounts payable for normal operation and grants.
Regular hours are 40 per week. Winter hours are dictated by weather conditions. All required hours over 40 are overtime.
Must hold a valid CDL License and be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests.
