Arlington Water Board Special Meeting June 17, 2024 Minutes

1. CALL TO ORDER at 6:30 pm

3. NEW BUSINESS
3.1 Award Hydrogeology
Members reviewed responses to the RFP for hydrogeology and source (re)permitting work after the project was repeatedly pushed back to allow more time for applications. There was one bid from Otter Creek Engineering. Member Browning made a motion to award the hydrogeology engineering work to Otter Creek Engineering for $90,700, seconded by Member Wilkins. Town Administrator Zaiac noted a December 2024 timeline per dates in the RFP and bid on questioning by Member Browning. Approved 5-0.
3.2 Award South Road Engineering
Member Browning made a motion to award the engineering and construction oversight work for the South Road project to Otter Creek Engineering for a total of $8500, seconded by Member Wilkins. Town Administrator Zaiac noted that the intention is to begin this project immediately. Approved 5-0.
Members briefly checked in with Operator Snow. There were no major matters to report. Town Administrator Zaiac noted the pending site visit for the state Sanitary Survey the following week, an inspection that happens every 3 years.
