Town Seeks Backup Plow Drivers
The Town of Arlington is seeking backup part-time plow truck drivers for the 2023-2024 winter season. All eligible drivers must hold at minimum a CDL-B (no automatic restriction) and pass a pre-employment drug test. Applicants must have previous plowing experience, experience with large municipal plow trucks is ideal but not required. Pay rate will be set by the Select Board at a future date. Drivers are expected to serve as needed, with no guarantee of a minimum number of hours for the season. Interested parties may contact the Town Administrator at 802-379-9916 to be added to the list of those being considered. The decision on the backup driver roster shall be set in late October or Early November 2023.
