The Town of Arlington received $60,000 from the State of Vermont for a grant under the Vermont Community Development Program. A public hearing will be held at
7:00 PM on September 15 2021 at 3828 VT Route 7A to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the range of community development activities that have been undertaken under this program, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine a statement of the use of these funds. The VCDP Funds received have been used to accomplish the following activities:
Environmental, architectural, and community needs assessment of the property located at 3960 VT Route 7A.

Notice of Public Hearing
The Town of Arlington is/are considering making application to the State of Vermont for a VCDP Implementation Grant 2021 under the Vermont Community Development Program. A public hearing will be held at 07:00 on 9/15/2021 at 3828 VT Route 7A Arlington VT 05250 to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the amount of funds available and the range of community development activities that may be undertaken under this program, the impact to any historic and archaeological resources that may be affected by the proposed project, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine the proposed statement of projected use of these funds.
The proposal is to apply for $500,000 in VCDP funds which will be used to accomplish the following activities: Community Center Copies of the proposed application are available at Arlington Town Hall, Arlington Post Office, Wayside Store and may be viewed during the hours of 9-2.
